Recycling an old, used 24x48" canvas and recreating a meadow filled with my favorite flowers. It took over 3 thick layers to cover up the previous painting. I went the unconventional route with this process and used ceiling paint (yes, ceiling paint... we had an extra bucket) and silk organza for the hand-crafted flowers.
